Photovoltaic noise barrier

NOISE LeDifese® Solar are acoustic barriers in Plastic Material that combine the performance of noise reduction with the function of producing electricity.

Le Difese® Solar is “recycled / recyclable” and comply with the current regulations: Gazz. Uff. March 15, 2011: Art. 195 paragraph 1 of 03/04/2006 n. 152 DM 203/2003, which transposes the European standards in matter.

This ingenious sound attenuating system is characterized by:

High percentage of materials coming from recycling
100% of recyclable materials
Does not require painting treatments
With regard to the safety and environmental requirements, the products are designed and comply to European standards: EN 1794-2 2004.

Economical benefits

The photovoltaic system integrated into the sound-absorbing panels allows, not only to recover all the costs of the structure (panels acoustic and photovoltaic), but furthermore, once covered the cost of the initial investment, of derive significant profits in the subsequent years.

Efficient benefits

Maximum acoustic and photovoltaic results thanks to the inward inclination of the structure (10° degrees) and the presence of a double barrier made of soundproof and photovoltaic panels; both contribute to improve the insulation.

Ecological and energetic benefits

Two kilometers of this type of noise barrier with a height of 3.5 meters could be equipped with 6.000 photovoltaic panels (size of the single panel 166×35 cm – 85/90W of power each) capable of producing 700.000 kWh of green energy per year. Thus is possible to produce an amount of energy that can satisfy the average consumption of 190 families with 3 components, with a reduction in pollution equivalent to 450,000 kg of CO2 per year.
